Friends of the Workhouse

The Friends of the Workhouse are those people who choose to support the Workhouse Arts Center through sharing their experience of the Workhouse with family, friends and colleagues; and who make a charitable gift to support the Workhouse Arts Center.

Everyone is welcome to join the Friends of the Workhouse. All you do is bring someone to the Workhouse or share what you know about the Workhouse with others, and make a gift at the level that is appropriate for you. Each level of membership has associated thank you gifts.

Friend            $50 Contribution

• Email invitation to all Exhibition and Show Openings;
• Opportunity to purchase tickets to Workhouse events before the general public;
• Membership Card to afford discounts at area partners / Art Supply store.

Enthusiast       $150 Contribution

• Individual Discounts on Workhouse classes / workshops;
• and all above.

Contributor     $250 Contribution

• Invitations to “Friends only” events at the Workhouse;
• Family Discounts on Workhouse classes / workshops;
• Priority registration in Workhouse classes / workshops;
• and all above.

Supporter        $500 Contribution

• 10% Discount on all artwork purchased during special “Friends” weeks at the Workhouse;
• and all above.

Sustainer         $1,000 Contribution

• Invitation for two to a special “Meet the Artist” event;
• 12% Discount on all artwork purchased during special “Friends” weeks at the Workhouse;
• and all above.

Patron             $2,000 Contribution

• Invitation to a Patron Appreciation Reception;
• 15% Discount on all artwork purchased during special “Friends” weeks at the Workhouse;
• and all above.

Benefactor      $5,000 Contribution

• An extra-special Benefactor Appreciation Dinner with the Chairman and President of Lorton Arts Foundation;
• 20% Discount on all artwork purchased during special “Friends” weeks at the Workhouse;
• and all above.
